 Chapter 13

It took a couple of days before we all recovered from the darts. I notice the blood in the room and we all went to get the blood. We all drank it up before the guards enter the room. Once we are done we put the cups back where we got them from. "Stay where you are."Said the guard to us, we did what we been told. The Master and Mistress enter the room with the Doctor. They explained what they are going to do. "It will be in the low setting, it will be raise higher for a short time."Said the Doctor as he turns on the controls.

 

I went tense when I felt the volts going thru my body. After awhile the Doctor made it a bit stronger, we almost yelled from the pain before the Doctor turns off the volts. I managed to stay standing once I felt the volts going away. The Doctor used a different switch and I had a hard time to move. After a few minutes the Doctor turns off the machine and we collapsed to the ground. "You will recover it wasn't on the highest setting."Said the Doctor to us. The Mistress explains what it can do to us if we refuse to follow orders. We all nod our heads that we understood what she said. They leave to do the other huts.

 

"I never felt that pain before."I said to the others. "I agree, I sure don't want to feel the highest one at all."Said Xuan. "I am sure Valin will."Said Cyan as I nodded my head in agreement. "Here comes supper."Alex said as he notices the door is opening. After the guard leaves the food and blood we went to get it and we started to eat and drink. We ate in silence and we put the plates back where we got them. "I am wondering if we are going to get to sleeping elixir."I asked the others. "Hard to say, we better stand apart in case we do." said Yakov as we went to our spots. After awhile we are still awake. "They might still test the new circuits to the other males." Said Deon. "Could be."Said Alex.

 

"Look at Baxter, he is some sort of trance."Said Cyan as he notices that I am not following what they are saying. "I don't remember seeing you like in this trance."Said Xuan as they watch me float up and disappear. "Where did he go?"Said Alex as he looks where I was standing. The others shrugged their shoulders in confuse. After awhile the guards enter the room. The notice I wasn't there. "Where is Baxter?"Asked the guard to Alex. Alex tells them what happen. The others nod their heads what Alex said. "Wait here." Said the guard as he leaves, after awhile he comes back into the room. "You all come with us."Said the guard as he leads them to a room.

 

Alex and the others did what they asked once inside the guards closes the door. "Sit down on the chairs."Said the Master. Alex and the other did what they been told. Once they are sitting down they feel straps going on their arms and legs. "I want to know where Baxter is. There will be an elixir been used on you as well."Said the Master as he motions the guards to put in the IV's and to start the elixir. Alex repeated what he told the guards.

 

The elixir takes effect on them and they all repeat when Alex has said before the elixirs. "Knock them out, keep them sedated until Baxter returns."Said the Master as the guards starts to knock them out. Once they are unconscious the guards bring them back to the room. The Master went back the Mistress. "What happen?"She asks him. He tells her. "I don't think Baxter is hiding in any rooms at all."Said the Master. "I agree, that hut never gives us any problems like Valin."Said the Mistress. "That I agree on, they are sleeping until Baxter shows up."Said the Master.

 

Couple of days went by, I am still in the trance but not in a strong trance as I been taken away, once I return I collapse onto the ground. I couldn't move for awhile. I notice the others are out cold so I knew I couldn't call out to them. I hear the door opening and guards entering, I notice one looking at me. He said something to another guard, after awhile I see the Doctor is there. He rolls me onto my back and he checks me over. "What ever is in his system he can sleep it off with no elixirs, I have no idea what kind of side effects it will have on him. "Said the Doctor. "OK, what about the others?"Asks the guard. "They can wake up now. The Master and Mistress can know about Baxter's return and what I said."Said the Doctor as they leave. I feel asleep right after they left.

 

I hear the others coming around, after awhile we are fully awake. They notice I am back with them. "What happen to you?"Asks Xuan to me. "I really don't know. All I remember is that we didn't get the sleep elixir and everything is a blank."I replied to them. Alex told me what the Master did to them. "I am sure they want to find out from you."Said Deon. "You could be right, it looks the guards are back."I said as I notice the door is opening. "Baxter follows us."Said the Guard to me. I kept quiet and follow the guards to a room. "Go inside and take a seat in the chair."Said the Guard once we got to the door. I did what he asked me. I sat on the chair and I felt the straps going on my legs and arms. They also did my head as well.

 

"I want you to tell me what happen to you?"Asks the Master to me. I told him what I remembered. He kept asking me questions which I couldn't answer. I was hoping he won't turn on the circuit at all. After awhile the Doctor enters the room. "I am going to exam you to see if my idea works."Said the Doctor as he checks me over. "It will work, it will make him weak for awhile."Said the Doctor. "OK, how long will it take?"Asks the Master. "Not long, He can keep sitting it will affect his ability to stand."Said the Doctor.

 

I kept quiet I knew my input with this will be no good. Even thou I am curious as well but I have no idea if I will find out. "The elixir will take effect pretty fast, He will be able to answer the questions once he is done I will put him in the elixir sleep for awhile."Said the Doctor as he gives me the needle. I feel the elixir going thru my body, I start to feel relax and getting weak, I notice the Doctor is looking at my face until his face getting blurry. I feel another needle and I went into a trance that I can't remember what is happening at all.

 

"He is ready, he might not able to tell us if they kept him in the trance."Said the Doctor to the Master. "OK, Baxter tells us what happen to you?"Asks the Master. "Some creatures or aliens put me in a trance and brought me to their ship. They did an exam on me, they talked in a language I didn't know, or what they did to me after the exam. They poke me and probe me. Then they knock me out, that is all I remember until I came around back in the hut."I said in a weird voice. The Doctor checks me over and sees that I am in stress. "I don't think we can get any more."Said the Doctor. "I agree with you, knock him out he won't work until he fully recovered."Said the Master as the Doctor knocks me out.

 

It took two days for me to recover from that elixir. Once I am awake I was hungry and thirsty. Alex notices this and helps me to drink the blood. "You will be weak for awhile, the guards are bringing in blood for you. What ever did the Doctor did you made you weak and sleepily as well."Said Alex after I was done drinking. I told them what he did to me. "I don't remember what happen after the elixir took effect on me."I said. "You might not know."Said Yakov.

 

"How do you feel?"Asks Cyan. "Better, I not as weak as before."I said as the door opens, the Master and the Doctor enters the room. The Doctor checks me over again. "It will be another two days before he can work."Said the Doctor. "OK, you and the others are not in trouble this was out of our hands, I thought it will save your curious as well."Said the Master as he tells us what he learned when I was in the elixir trance. Everyone was in shocked to hear this. "There shouldn't be no problems we will keep an eye on you in case."Said the Doctor. I only nod my head to tell them I understand as they leave. "I still am wondering what they did to me."I said as I sat down. "Hard to say we will keep an eye on you as well."Said Alex. "OK, I sure don't feel any different. I am going to lie down; I still feel the elixir that they used on me."I said as I lay back on the ground, I feel asleep really quickly.

 

"Baxter wake up."Xuan said to me as he shakes me awake. "What is it?"I ask him. "The guards wants us to follow them."Said Xuan to me. "OK."I said as I got up and follows Xuan where the others are. "Follow us."Said the guard to us. We did what we are told and I am wondering where we are heading. After awhile we are in the gym area. Once there the guards motions us to sit down in the chairs. The Master enters and walks towards us. "You and your hut mates are exempt to take these excises."Said the Master to us. I was in shocked to hear this and I notice the glass is dark we can see out but the other males can't see in.

 

"You are probably wondering why you are not doing this one. "Said the Master to us. We all kept quiet. "There are been problems with the other males, not following the rules or doing their work. Once they are in the sleep state they are going to get something different on the trouble makers." said the Master as he leaves the room. The guard closes the door and locks it as well. I was in shock to hear this but I didn't say anything.

 

I kept watching what is happening in the field. I notice Valin and his hut mates are in the area. I hear what the Master is saying to them before they take off running in different directions. After awhile I notice Valin is down, he isn't out cold yet. He isn't moving pretty well he is trying to get up with no success until they shot him again before he passes out. It doesn't take that long before his mates are out cold. I watched them be carried away and I notice there are two other males that I don't recognize at all. They did the same thing to them before they guards came to get us to head back to our hut. Once back inside they gave us food and blood before they left.

 

"That was scary, I wonder what they did."I said to the others. "I have no idea, my guess Valin is trying to escape again. Somehow he is able to beat the circuits."Said Alex as we started to eat and drink. After we are done eating we put they plates back where we found them, then we went to our spots. "I am guessing we are getting the scented one."I said as I smell the scented elixir before I fall asleep pretty fast.
