 Chapter 14

We all woke up at the same time. "Standing while sleeping is hard."I said as I move to get out the kinks out my legs. "I agree there."Said Alex. "I am wondering. How long Valin and the other males are going to be in that state."I asked the others. "Hard to say, we probably won't find out."Said Deon. "If we go to work we might."I said as I notice the guards entering the hut. "Time to go to work."Said the guard to us as we line up. He lead us to the work area. I look around and notice Valin and the other males are not here. We start to work. After awhile I felt the circuit paralyze me. I collapse to the ground and I notice Alex and the others are the same way. I felt my body go relax once the circuit is turn off. Then I saw the guards looking at me. "Take them to the room. "Said the guard to another set of guards. I felt them lifting me and being carried away. I didn't dare say anything while I was being taking away; I also notice Alex and the others are being carried away as well. They brought us into a room where they lay us on the beds, and then they strap us to the rails once they brought the rails up. I notice the Doctor looking at me as he puts in the IV. "The others are getting the same thing as you, don't try to turn your head, if you do I will turn on machine for a stronger doze."Said the Doctor to me. I could tell he meant business as I kept looking upwards.

 

After awhile I hear the Master speaking. "It seems Valin has escaped again, same with Zeger. Somehow they are able to stop the circuits that make them paralyze."Said the Master to us. I was in shock to hear this. "You are going to an elixir to see if you saw anything. Once the elixir starts to take effect you are going to start talking at once before I can question you. Once we find out what we can you will put to sleep for awhile for how long I have no idea."Said the Master as he motions the Doctor to start the elixir.

 

"The reason you are being tied up so you won't attack us or hurt yourself as well."Said the Master to us. Better safe than sorry as I thought to myself. I felt tingling in my arm where the IV is. I and feeling a bit light headed as well. Then everything is going in and out of focus. I start moving my head side to side, I hear the others mumbling out loud before I start to mumbling as well. We did that for awhile before we stop. I notice a shape looking at me. "They are ready, they will need the relax elixir."Said the Doctor as he gives me the needle. I felt so relax once the elixir takes effect. Once the Master sees that we are relax he starts to ask us questions. I don't remember any of the questions at all.

 

After five hours the Doctor knocks us out. "They must stay here until the first elixir is out of their system, then I will make them paralyze and they can recover in the hut."Said the Doctor as he checks us over. "OK, they didn't do anything to help Valin and Zeger, once they are back in the hut do the others huts as well."Said the Master to the Doctor. "Sounds good to me."Replies the Doctor.

 

It took about three weeks before we moved to our hut. We slept for another week before we all woke up, we still couldn't move yet. "What happen?"I asked once I was awake. "I have no idea, It seems to me Valin has escaped again."Said Deon. "I agree same with Zeger this time."Said Alex. "Are you able to move?"I ask the others. "Not yet."Said Yakov. I hear the door opening and the Doctor enters and he sees us are awake. "I am giving you an elixir that will help you move, it will take time to work, and it will make you a bit sleepily as well. Before I give it to you I will help you drink the blood as well."Said the Doctor as he helps us to drink the blood. After that is done he gives us the needle. It is making me very sleepily I fell asleep real fast.

 

"They are asleep now; it will take a couple of days before they will able to move."Said the Doctor. "OK, you better check on the Mistress as well."Said the Master. "Will do."Said the Doctor as they both leave. It took a couple of days before we woke and able to move. "That felt weird."I said as I was able to stand up. "I agree, I don't think we are going to work until they find Valin and Zeger."Said Cyan as he does some stretches to loosen his legs. "I agree, I didn't see anything at all."I said as I did the same thing as Cyan is doing. "They are totally chain to the wall at work and in the hut, they must of able to get the chains off."Said Xuan. I nodded my head in agreement.

 

I notice the door is opening, the Master and the Doctor enters. The Doctor checks us over to make sure we are recovered from the elixirs. "They are back to normal."Said the Doctor to the Master. "OK, we still haven't located Valin or Zeger the other huts doesn't know how they escaped as well."Said the Master. I was in shock to hear this. He tells us what he is going to do. I was in shock to hear this as well. "The person who is going to do this will be in state that their spirit is able to see us and hear us, plus able go back to time as well. Only how far back is when you were born, raised and being taken. It will help us to locate Valin as well where he is hiding and how he is escaping as well."Said the Doctor to us.

 

We are all in shock to hear this."Once you are back in your body you will be very weak and very confused. Once you are recovered this hut will go into the pods so the people can recover a bit faster. I need two volunteers. Think about it, it will take a tool on the body as well. You can talk between your self's as well."Said the Doctor to us. We nod our heads as we walk away from them. "Do you think it will work?"I ask the others. "Could be, my guess who ever does it the others will watch them as well."Said Alex. "I agree, I am sure we will be in a room to get the elixirs as well."I said as I think back what the Doctor said. "I am thinking of doing it."Said Deon. The others look at him. "Same here. I am courtesy to where or how Valin is escaping as well."I said to the others. "To me you and Deon are the stronger ones here that are able to stand that much pressure."Said Alex. Deon and I nod our head in agreement as we walk back to the Doctor and the Master.

 

"Have you decided who will do it?"Asks the Master. "Yes we did, Deon and I will do it."I said to them. "OK, Alex, Cyan, Xuan and Yakov will watch you over once you are in the state. It will take awhile before we get the answers we need. Once you are in the state you are able to see us and answer us as well. You will be talking as well. You probably will go back to the village where you are born, you will watch what happens to each other life's as well. It won't bring back memories once you are awake or what happens when we us the elixirs as well, it will skip that part."Said the Master to us. We nod our heads as we understand what he said. "Follow us, the others can come as well to watch."Said the Master as he leads us to a room.

 

"You need to have these clothes on, it will keep you temperature up."Said the Doctor as he gives us the clothes. We put them on and help each other with the straps. The Doctor checks us over to make sure everything is in place. "These elixirs are different you are suppose to drink them until you are weak, Alex and the others will help once you can't move at all."Said the Doctor as he makes the drinks for Deon and I. "It will be slow going, once you can't move at all the other will help you until we have to use the IV's. You are both going under at the same time."Said the Doctor as he gives us the drinks.

 

We take the glass and drinks the elixir, we hand the glass back to the Doctor. "It will take effect when you are moving."Said the Doctor to us. We walk around until I start to feel a bit light headed. The Doctor notices this and he tells us to stop so we can get the next drink. "This one will make like you are swaying when you are walking."Said the Doctor as he hands us the drinks. We take them and drink them as well. We hand the drinks back to the Doctor and start to walk again.

 

After a few minutes we started to sway when we are walking. "Alex helps Deon while I help Baxter."Said the Doctor as he hands Alex the glass. "This one will work pretty fast you will collapse, after this one you will be put on the beds."Said the Doctor as he helps me with the glass. I couldn't hold the glass steady. The Doctor hands the glass Cyan, while Alex helps Deon and hands the glass to Xuan.

 

I felt my legs go weak and I start to collapse to the ground. The Doctor made sure I didn't go down to hard. "Deon is down as well."Said Alex to the Doctor. "OK, help me with Baxter, then we will get Deon."Said the Doctor as Alex and him lefts me up and put me on the bed. Then they did Deon, they put straps on us and he raises the beds. "It will be easier to drink the other elixirs before you go into the trance."Said the Doctor as he makes the other drinks. I am able to look around the room and sees the others watching quietly. After awhile the Doctor gives Alex a glass for Deon and he helps me to drink mine. "This one will make you weak, you will have trouble holding your head up, and once you are like that you will lay down for the IV's."Said the Doctor as he helps me with the glass.

 

We drank the elixir, with no problems, after the Doctor takes the glass away, he watches us. After a few minutes I felt my head lowering down, plus I am having a hard time to sit up as well. The Doctor notices this and he lowers the beds once he sees Deon in the same shape. "I am not doing the others until tomorrow. The other males can stay here to keep an eye on them as well."Said the Doctor to the Master. "OK, you won't be getting the sleeping elixir at all. Do these elixirs leave their system?"Asks the Master. "Yes, they are going to get a shot now to keep them this way. They can't eat or drink blood."Said the Doctor as he gives us the needles. "Go to sleep there is no point staying awake."Said the Doctor as I go to sleep.

 

Nothing really happen during the night, I woke up and I see the other males looking at us. "You can talk to them for a bit, The Master isn't here yet."Said the Doctor. "Any news about Valin?"I ask the others. "Not yet. How does it feel?"Asks Yakov to us. "Weird, I can't move or do anything at all."Said Deon. "I agree as well."I replied as I see the Master enters the room. "Are they ready for the rest?"Ask the Master. "Yes, I am putting in the IV's, they need four IV's now. All four elixirs will make them restless, not able to see probably, and not able to speak. Once they are in that state I will be putting another one that will put them in a trance then into a deep sleep. Once they are asleep their hearts will beat very slowly and their breathing will be very sallow."Said the Doctor. "How do we know when they are in that state?"Asks the Master. "They are able to move an object here but in the past or any time. Once they find out what we need they will return to their bodies on their own, they are going to be on the machines to tell us they are back. They can talk to each other while in that state as well."Answers the Doctor.

 

I can feel the elixirs going thru my arm, I am keeping blinking my eyes, and everything is getting out of focus. "It looks like Baxter is having trouble seeing."Said Cyan as he watches me. "Same with Deon."Said Alex. "OK, Baxter and Deon start talking."Said the Doctor. We did until we couldn't make a sound.

 

"I am putting in another IV, this one will put you into the trance, and I will keep you in the trance for awhile to make sure you able to keep the elixirs."Said the Doctor as he starts the elixir. "How can you tell them are in the trance?"Asks the Master. "By their eyes they will stop blinking and they will keep their eyes open. They will feel it as well. Once in the trance I will make them paralyze so they won't hurt them self's. Xuan, Alex, Cyan, and Yakov, you can watch them."Said the Doctor to the others males, he also tells them what to watch for, they nods their heads to understand.

 

I only could see dark images the other males are looking at me. I kept blinking until I couldn't."Baxter is in the trance."Said Cyan. "Same with Deon."Said Alex. "Good, keeping watching them, they might try to fight the elixir."Said the Doctor as he works on more elixirs. After awhile the Doctor is done what he is doing and comes and checks on us. He is happy what he sees. He puts in another IV and starts the elixir. "This one will make them to fall asleep, their eyes will close on their own. Once they are asleep I will be putting in a breathing tube that will help them breath until the go into the deep sleep or coma like death."Said the Doctor.

 

"It looks like Baxter he is staring to tense up."Said Xuan and he notices that I am not as relax. "Same with Deon."Said Yakov. The Doctor comes over and checks us and gives us a needle. "That should relax them now."Said the Doctor. "It work, they are not as tense now. Baxter just closes his eyes."Said Cyan. "Deon just did as well."Said Alex as they step back so the Doctor can do his job. "The machine will go off when they are having trouble breathing."Said the Doctor as he gives us an elixir to put us into a very deep sleep.

 

The Doctor covers us up with blankets. "They can't control their temperature in this state."Said the Doctor as he checks us over again. "How long will it take them to be in the coma like death?"Asks the Master. "Two or three days, I might have to give them more if they don't go into it."Said the Doctor as he checks the machines. "Alex and the others you can stay here and help the Doctor, if you don't listen there will be punishment."Said the Master as he leaves. It took three days go into the coma like death. I haven't felt anything like this. I am able to see my body on the bed same with Deon's. I able to see Deon floating near me. "This is weird."I said as I am trying to stay still."I agree, I remember hearing that we can move an object only in this room."Said Deon. "I agree, let's try."I said. Deon nods his head as we float down to a book. We tried to move it but it didn't work. "We might be needed to be a deeper one."Said Deon as he watches the Doctor. "I agree, let's wait and see what happens."I said.

 

After awhile I hear the alarms go off on the machines. "They are in the coma like death. They will be like this for awhile, I am going to do my rounds keep an on them."Said the Doctor as he leaves. "I rather help here than getting into trouble."Said Alex. "I agree. Hey did that book moved?"Said Cyan as he notices the book move.

 

"Good they saw that, we better get started."I said to Deon. "I agree."Replies Deon as we float back in time. After awhile we arrived in a small town. "I don't remember this place."I said as I look around. "I grew up here. It will be strange to see what happens when we go into the trance."Said Deon as he looks around as well. We float towards a house, where a woman and a young male are standing. "Is that you?"I ask Deon. "Yes, my mom had a shop and I help her as well."Replies Deon. We watch for awhile, until we see the guards coming. "You must been twenty one when they came."I said. "Yes, back of my mind is wondering what happen to my mom."Deon said as he watches.

 

We saw the young Deon going into the trance and the same stuff thing happen to me. We saw the guards use a gun on Deon's mom before they rode away. We saw the other woman runs towards her and we see that she is still alive. "I am glad she is alive now, but I am not too sure now."Deon said as we float away. We went to a farm which I recognize. "Here is the farm where I grew up."I said to Deon as he looks around.

 

"Some how we are traveling and skipping other parts of the timeline."Said Deon as he looks at me. "I agree, I have the same thought as you to see if my mom is still alive after I was taken."I said as I watch what I went thru. "My guess you are the last one she had."Said Deon as he watches the guard shots the woman. I look at the other ladies running towards my mom. I see their sad faces as I could tell my mom is dead. "I am sorry Baxter."Said Deon to me. "Some how I knew that when I heard the shot."I replied as we floated back to the area we know.

 

"We are back but it is couple of days ago when Valin and Zeger got away."I said as I see Valin and Zeger are getting them self out of the chains. "Some how Valin is able to get a key that works on the chains on him and Zeger, they left the other males alone."I said as we float with them. "They are heading to the old work area, near the wall."Said Deon and he notices where they went. We followed them to where they are hiding.

 

We float to the present day and we see they are still in the same place where we saw them. "I don't think they will move for awhile, they are clearing a tunnel that will take awhile to complete."Said Deon. "I agree. We better head back, I am feeling a bit weird now."I said as we float back to the Doctor's area. We see the Doctor there with the other males. "It will be nice to be back to the living." I said as I return to my body, Deon did the same.

 

The machines went off."They are back, they will be like this for awhile. The elixirs will leave their system on their own."Said the Doctor. "I wonder what they found out."Said Cyan. "Hard to say, they won't tell us until they are awake and stronger."Replies the Doctor.
