Chapter 25
The others are awake expect for me. "Baxter is still out."Said Cole as he looks at me. "He looks so relax as well." Said Xuan as he looks at me. "I wonder how long he will be like this."Said Deon as the door opens and the Doctor enters, he checks me over. "He will be like this for a week."Said the Doctor as he leaves, the guards enter and bring food and blood, once they are done the guards tell Cole to stay with me and the others went to work.
It took me a week to wake up, once I am awake I am in a daze and Alex helps me with the blood. I feel a little better. The Doctor enters and checks me over. "Cole and Alex help him to stand."Said the Doctor as they help me to stand up. Once I am on feet I feel dizzy and I hold onto Cole and Alex for support.
"Follow me."Said the Doctor as they help me to walk to the water tunnel. "Help Baxter into the water."Said the Doctor as they help me into the water, once I feel the water my legs turn into fins. "Cole and Alex go into the water with him."Said the Doctor as they enter the water. We swam for three hours so I can recover my strength. We return to the top side and climb out of the water.
The Doctor checks me over again. "You are recovered and you can go back to work tomorrow."Said the Doctor as he leads us back to the hut. Once we enter the hut we see the others are working. "I am going to sedate you three so lay down."Said the Doctor as we did the what he asked; once we did he used the needles and we pass out very quickly.
Once the others return they pass out as well; we slept thru the night, we all woke up all at once. "I sure don't remember what happen to me." I said to the others. "He did something to you and you went into a trance off some sort."Said Alex as he tells me what happen to me. The door opens and the guards bring us food and blood; after we ate and drink the blood, the guard take us to the work area.
The guards bring us into a new tunnel and we start to work in there, we work for awhile, I felt arms around my neck with a tool. "You are coming with me."I heard someone said behind me. I drop my tool and bring my hands around the tool to stop the pressure of the tool. I see the guards running towards me and whoever is holding me hostage. "Come any closer he will be hurting."Said the same voice. I feel him dragging me away from the others. I couldn't see where I am going at all, the guards follow at a safe distance, once we get a point where the path goes into a different room.
I felt something in my leg, what ever it is taking effect slowly, somehow the guy is able to hold me up when I am having a hard time walking. I felt a needle in middle of my back and I couldn't walk anymore, I am able to see and hear. The male had to lift me onto his shoulders which makes a good shot for the guards to shoot him with elixir's, they had to keep shooting him, I got some as well, I feel myself falling off him when he collapsed, once I am on the ground I had a hard time seeing things in focus. "Baxter is in bad shape is he semi conscious."Said the guard. "The Doctor is coming."Said another guard.
Once the Doctor is there he checks me over. "He needs to come to my area."Said the Doctor as the guards lift me. "Once he is there don't knock him out."Said the Doctor as I get carried away. Once I get there they lay me on the bed and waits for the Doctor to enter. Once he enters he checks me. I am moving my head a bit and mumbling as well. The Doctor checks me over and finds out the elixir the male gave me will wear off awhile and the elixir the guards gave me as well. "I am going to sedate you and you will sleep for awhile."Said the Doctor as he gives me a need which I lose conscious real quick. "You can take him back, I will check him again later."Said the Doctor as the guards take me back to the hut. They lay me down and they went to get the others. It doesn't take that long for them to return, they see me out cold. "He will be like this for awhile, once he is awake he won't able to stand or walk."Said the guard to the others as they leave.
"Who was that male?"Asks Cole as he makes me comfortable. "It sounded like Valin, but I am not too sure."Said Alex as he sits down to take a rest. After awhile the door opens and the Master enters. "Someone how Valin was able to escape and went on the loose, it was he that took Baxter hostage. He is being dealt with now."Said the Master as he leaves.
I was like this for a week, I came around I still couldn't still move at all. Cole sees me that I am awake. He helps me with the blood after I am done drinking I fall back to sleep. The Doctor enters and Cole tells him about me. "Good, you all won't be getting the sleeping elixir until Baxter is strong enough."Said the Doctor as he leaves. It took another week to fully recover.
"What happen?"I ask the others. Yakov tells me what happen to me and who took me as well. I was shock to hear this. "I thought he was in chains and not able to move?"I said the others. "Some how he recovered and escaped."Said Cyan. "Do you think he had helped?"I asked the others. "Hard to say."Said Deon as he sees the door opening. The Master enters with the Doctor.
I am going to check Baxter over."Said the Doctor as he checks me over. "It will be awhile before he can move his legs, I want the others to move his legs so it won't be stiff."Said the Doctor. They nodded their heads that they understand. "It probably be a week or more."Said the Doctor as they leave. I am able to sit up without helps; I drag myself to the wall so I can lean on it. "It will be a pain for me not able to move."I said to the others. "I agree, let's start with moving your legs."Said Cole as he and Cyan starts to move my legs.
I was like this for awhile before I am able to move my legs on my own. The Doctor enters and checks me over. "Yakov and Xuan help him to stand."Said the Doctor as they did what he asked. They came over and help me to stand. I hand to hold on tight on both; they help me walk around until my legs got stronger and I am able to stand and walk without aided. A few minutes later the Master enters. "Glad you are standing, all of you come with me."Said the Master as we follow him to a room.
Once there we saw Valin in a room chained up. "He is refusing to answer any questions on how he is escaping."Said the Master as he tells us what he want us to do. I was in shock to hear this. "Baxter you can go first, you can do anything you want."Said the Master to me. I enter the room, I walk behind Valin without him knowing I am there. I grab his neck. "Now you know it feels like, when I grab yours."I said to Valin. I felt him jump when I grab him. "I want the answers, how are you escaping and able to stop the circuits as well."I said to him.
He refused to answer me. I started to drink from him just a little bit. "I will continue to drink until I get the answers."I said to him as I repeated the questions. He kept refusing to answer. I kept drinking until I felt him getting weak. "Last chance Valin."I said to him as I wipe my mouth off. He started to realize that I will continue to drink, he started to tell the Master how he is able to escape and stop the circuits. I leave the area as the Doctor enters to check him over. "He will be weak for awhile, I have sedated him and he will be like that for awhile."Said the Doctor as the guards takes us back.
Once we enter the hut the Master also enters. "He won't be escaping for awhile unless he figures out how to escape again."Said the Master as he leaves. "I am sure he will."I said as I lie down."I am surprised you did what you did to him."Said Cole. "It surprised me too, but I knew he will tell me when he is getting weak. I didn't know how long he would hold up."I said as I fallen into a deep sleep.
The guards enter and they see me sleeping. "He will be like until morning ?"Asks the Guards. Alex nodded his head yes as the guards leave the plates and blood. The others take the plates and blood, once they are done eating and drinking the blood they put the plates and glass back they stand in their spots. They fallen asleep quickly.
The door opens and the Master and The Doctor enters. "Put Alex and Yakov into a deeper sleep and take them."Said the Master to the Doctor as the Doctor did what the Master asked. "Are you thinking of doing the pregnant on them?"Asks the Doctor. "Yes, once the others are recovered they are going to get the new circuits as well."Said the Master as the guards take Alex and Yakov away.
I woke up before the others and I notice Yakov and Alex aren't here. It doesn't take that long for the others to wake up. "I think they took Alex and Yakov during the night."I said as I stand up and did some stretches. "I agree."Said Cyan as they did the same thing. I see the door opening and the guards bring Alex and Yakov back and the guards leave. "They are unconscious."Said Deon as we move them in better positions. The door opens and the Doctor enters. "They will be sleeping for awhile. I am going to take two at a time, once the first two recovers I will take another two. Alex and Yakov will be last. Deon and Xuan come with me."Said the Doctor as he leads them away.
"I wonder what is going on now."Said Cole as he watches the others leaving. "Hard to say, maybe the circuits needs to replace."I said as I sit down. The guards bring us food and blood we ate, after we put the plates back, I notice some movement from Alex and Yakov. "I think they are coming around."I said as I went to get the blood for them. Cyan helps Yakov as I help Alex once they are done drinking the blood they fallen back to sleep.
After awhile the guards bring back Deon and Xuan. "They will recover before another two go to the Doctor."Said the guard as they leave. "They are in some sort of trance, and very stiff as well."Said Cyan as they move them apart. "I agree there. It might take awhile before they are awake. It took two days before Alex and Yakov are fully awake. "What happen?"Asked Alex us. "I have no idea, when I woke up you two weren't here. The Doctor is doing something to us but two at a time."I said as I check on Deon and Xuan.
It took another three days before Deon and Xuan comes around. "What happen?"Deon asked us. "I have no idea, do you remember anything?"I asked them. "Not really."Said Xuan as he tries to stand up but he couldn't. "Whoa I feel weak and dizzy."Said Xuan as he collapsed back to the ground. "My guess they did a new circuit or something else."I said as I help Xuan to sit near the wall. "I agree, I better not stand up either."Said Deon as Cole helps him. The door opens and the Doctor enters he checks the others before he takes Cyan and Cole. "It might take awhile for us to get what you have."I said as I sit down.
It took another day when Cyan and Cole return. Alex and I moved them into a better position. "They are in the same shape as you when your returned."I said to Deon and Xuan. "I can believe that. I still can't stand."Said Xuan."I am guessing the Doctor will give us something to recover our strength."I said. It took the same length for them to come around and Xuan and I help them to sit by the walls. The Doctor enters and checks them over before he takes Alex and Yakov. "I am guessing you are going to be last Baxter." Said Cole. "I think you are right."I said as I sit down.
Same length of time when the guards bring Alex and Yakov back. I move them apart and I help the others with the food and blood. It took the same length of time for them to come around. I help them to sit near the walls. I hear the door opening and the Doctor enters and he checks the others before he takes me to his area.
Once there he tells me to lie down on the bed. I did what he asked, once I am lying down, he ties my arms and legs down. I felt the volts but not strong enough. The Doctor stops the machine and checks me over. "It won't harm the fetus that the aliens did to you."Said the Doctor as he gives me a needle and it makes me very weak. He gives me another one that makes me relax and not able to move as well. He straps my head so I am looking up at the ceiling. He puts on a mask and I smell a scented elixir in which is making me very sleepily. I felt a IV going into my arm and I felt going stiff before he turns on another elixir which knocks me out.
"He is the last on in this hut."Said the Doctor as he starts working on me. "OK, before you do the other huts lets test the circuits on them. If it works do the other huts as well."Said the Master. "OK, once Baxter is awake; I will give them the elixir so they can recover their strengths."Said the Doctor. It took the same length of time for me to wake up. Once I am awake the Doctor enters and checks me over. "I am going to give you all a needle and it will work pretty fast."Said the Doctor as he starts to give us the needle.
I feel my strength returning and I can stand up with no problems same with the others. Once we are standing, I see the Doctor doing something on a machine. I start to feel dizzy and I started to fall on the ground. Once I am on the ground I feel my legs going stiff and I am not able to move them, same with my arms. I was able to turn my head and see the others are in the same position as me. I felt the volts going thru my body which makes me jump from the volts, the volts are getting a higher volt and I almost pass out from the pain. I feel the volt die out and I went limp. I was able to stay awake and I see the Doctor looking at me and he did something that makes me into a trance as I am having trouble seeing things in focus. I start to mumbling and moving my head side to side.
The Doctor and the Master sees this. "All the males are like this."Said the Doctor as he checks them over. "I will knock them out and let them recover."Said the Doctor as he turns on the machine and knocks us all out. "It will take awhile before they are recovered from this one. I will start with the others now."Said the Doctor. "OK, I am sending the guards to bring in new males."Said the Master. "OK it will take awhile for them to return with them."Said the Doctor as they leave.
It took us three days to recover from the circuits. "That felt weird."I said as I stand up and did some stretches. "I agree there, I am hoping we get back to normal now."Said Alex as he sees the door opening and the Doctor enters. He checks us over. "You are fully recovered. Alex follow me."Said the Doctor as he takes Alex away and the guards take us to the work area. I notice there is a few males in the work area as we work the ten hours. Once we return we saw Alex out cold. I move him into a better position before I saw the guards bring in our food and blood. We ate and drank the blood. "We are getting the heavy one." I said as I smelled the scented elixir. I fell as I am falling as sleep.
During the night the Doctor enters and checks Alex over. "He will be awake at the same time as the others, I am going to wait until a month before I do Yakov."Said the Doctor to the Master. "Ok, the guards can bring in the new male. There isn't any more room in this hut we need to make new huts for the males."Said the Master as he brings in the male. "Sounds good to me."Said the Doctor as they leave. We all woke up expect for the new male.
"It looks like we got a new male."I said as I notice the unconscious male. "I agree, it could be the same length before he come around."Said Cole as he makes him comfortable. The guards bring in the food and blood. We ate and drank the blood and Alex had to run into the corner. "I am guessing they made you pregnant."I said to him. "Could be."Said Alex as he returns. "They could have done me as well?"Asks Yakov. "Hard to say."I said.
It took three days before the male is awake and fully recovered. I explain what is going on and what we do. "Can you tell your name?"I asked him. "It is Basil."Said Basil as he looks around. The door opens and the Master enters the room. "Good you are awake, Baxter show him your teeth."Said the Master; I did what he asked and Basil is surprised to see this. The Master tells him what happen if he doesn't follow the rules. He nods his head as he understands. Time to work."Said the Master as he steps aside for the guards to take us to the work area. Once there I show Basil what to do. He nods his head as he starts to work.
Nothing happen for a month, Basil has catch on what to do and he is amaze about us as well. I notice Alex is gain weight like he is expecting. The door opens and the Doctor check Alex over and he takes Yakov away. "What happen to Alex?"Basil ask us. I tell him what happen to me and the others. I also explain about the alien abductions as well. He looks at me. "It takes about a year to give birth if you get abducted, Alex will be nine months."I said to Basil.
"I find it amazement about vampires."Said Basil as he looks at us again. "I was the same as you."Said Cole. It took two days before they return with Yakov. The guards lie him down and they leave. I make Yakov comfortable. "He will be sleeping for a couple of days."I said to Basil.
Nothing happen in the two days, Yakov is awake and he is having trouble keeping down food. The guard enters. "Line up and follow us."Said the Guard to us. We did what he asked and they take us to the arena, they motion us to sit down in the chairs. The Master and the Mistress tells us what is going to happen to us. I was in shock to hear this.
I see Valin in the arena, I hear the buzzer and Valin takes off running. I also see walls and other stuff around the arena as well. Valin is running towards a wall and a guard tries to grab him but Valin is able to escape him and two others before someone was able to grab him and put a cloth over his nose and mouth. Valin is trying to escape from the cloth and arms, but he couldn't. I could tell he is getting a bit weak as well. I see his arm drop to his sides and his eyes are almost closed. Another guard enters and gives him a needle that make as him pass out quickly, the guards take him away and it was another huts turn.
It doesn't take that long for our hut's turn, they are taking two at a time. I watch the others going thru the same thing as Valin. It was Basil and mine turn. We hear the buzzer and we take off in different directions. Basil was able to escape some of the guards, same with me. I heard a sound and I knew it was Basil getting caught. I was able to escape bit longer until I felt some arms around my nose and mouth; I try to fight it but I am getting a bit sleepily from the elixir. I feel my arms drop to my side, they had to use another cloth to get me more sleepily. My eyes starts to close, I felt a needle which knocks me out real quick.
"Take them back their huts."Said the Master to the guards as they did what he asked. We slept for two days before we all come around. "That felt weird."Said Alex as he stands up. "I agree as well."I said. "Do we get the same thing every time?"Asks Basil us. "No, it is different ones each time."Said Cole as he explains what happen before. Suddenly we hear a different siren. I look at Alex to see what to do. He just shrugged his shoulders. The door opens and the Master and the guards enter the hut. "Follow us. Basil you can come as well."Said the Master as he leads us to a tunnel. We all see it is flooded. "There is a switch there that you need to turn, it will be hard to turn. You need everyone to turn it."Said the Master to us.
We nodded our heads as we headed into the water. Once in the water our legs turn into fins and we dive under water. "You can watch Basil." said the Master as he lets Basil look at us in the water. "I see the valve."I said as I swam to the valve, the others follow. We all take a side and try to turn the valve, it didn't move. "We need something to help us."I said as I swam around to find something to use.
I see a pipe and I pick it up and swam back to the others. "This will work."I said as I slide the pipe in the valve. We all used the pipe to turn the pipe. I see the valve turn and once it is open all the way and the water starts to drain away, once the water is gone the fins disappeared an our legs came back. "How are we going to get back up?"Asks Cole as I notice we are at the bottom of tunnel.
I see a ladder nearby, I see the Master looking at us and I pointed to the ladder to him and we start to walk to the ladder, we climb up the ladder once we are on top we see the guards waiting for us. "Follow us."Said the Guard as they leads us back to the Master.
I told him what happen to the valve, and how it was on tight. "OK, you can go back to the hut." said the Master as the guards takes us back to the hut. Once inside the hut the guards locks the door. "You are mermen as well?"Asks Basil. "Yes, we do stuff in the water for the Master."Said Alex.
Another month went by and Yakov is showing. The guards brought in beds for Alex and Yakov. The Doctor checks them over as well. The Master enters the hut. "Basil it seems you are interested in becoming a vampire and a merman?"Asks the Master to Basil. Basil nods his head yes.
"OK, Baxter you are going to turn Basil. Once he is a vampire he will become a merman."Said the Master as the guards bring in the food for us. Both Alex and Yakov sit on the beds and they ate and pass out same the others expect for Basil and me. Basil went into the Zombie state and I help him walk to the padded room. Once there the Master told me I can start any time. I slit my wrist and help Basil to drink my blood. "It will be the same length as the others." I said to the Master. "OK, guards you can take him back."Said the Master to the guards as they lead me back to the hut. Once inside he tells me to lie down. I did what he asked and he knocks me out.
We woke up at different times. "How did it go with Basil?"Asked Cole to me. "Good, he should be transforming any day now. Then he will do the merman one."I said to the others. "It will be easier with him as a merman as well."Said Xuan as he notices the door opening. "Time to work."Said the Guards we all leave expect for Alex and Yakov are staying behind. While we are working the guards bring Basil back to the hut. "That felt weird turning into a vampire then the merman as well."Said Basil to Alex and Yakov. "I agree there as well."Said Alex.
After the ten hours we returned to the hut. "That was hard work today."I said as I sat down. "Are you still in the new tunnel?"Asks Alex. "Yes, the rock it a bit hard to break."Said Cyan as he notices the door opening and the Doctor and the guards enter. "I am going to check Alex and Yakov then you can eat."Said the Doctor as he goes to Alex and Yakov. After he is done he motions to Alex and Yakov to sit on the beds. Then he motions the guards to give us our food and blood. We start to eat the food and drink the blood, I notice Alex and Yakov are falling asleep really quick. The guards take the plates and glass and they help them to lie down. After we finished the food and blood I started to feel dizzy, not the sleepily as before. I notice Cyan and Basil eye's are rolling up. The Doctor sees this and gives them a needle to keep them in the state.
Xuan, Deon and Cole are in the same state. I am having a hard time keeping stuff in focus. A few minutes later I was in the same state. I felt the needle into my arm. I am able still hear what is going on. I hear the door opening and the Master enters the room. "How did it go?"He asks the Doctor. "Good, it took awhile before it took effect, Alex and Yakov didn't get it. I will give three of them the next step."Said the Doctor. "OK, do you know who will get it?"Asks the Master. "No, whoever doesn't get it will look after the others."Said the Doctor as he gives us the needles. "Does it work pretty fast?"Asks the Master. "No, it will take awhile."Said the Doctor as he watches us. I hear Cole, Basil starting to mumble a bit. I start as well before I started to sway a bit as well. "It looks like Cole, Basil and Baxter are in the state and the others are not."Said the Master as he notices Xuan, Deon and Cyan aren't mumbling and swaying. "I will give them a needle which will knock them out real quick, they will be asleep a bit longer than Alex and Yakov."Said the Doctor as he gives them a needle, they pass out real quick and the guards helps them to lie down on the ground.
"We need to move them into the room now, the other huts are asleep now."Said the Doctor as he motions the guard to help us to walk to the room. Once we get there the. Doctor put us in different areas in the room. Then he gives us a shot and he leaves the room. I stopped mumbling and swaying once the elixir takes effect. I start to feel my legs go stiff and my arms like lead. I couldn't move if I wanted too. "They are in the stage now."Said the Doctor to the Master.
"Are you able to hear me?"Asks the Master to us. "I can."I said in a weird voice as I hear the others answering as well. The Master smiles at this when he heard. "We can go into the next stage. They will collapse once they do. They can go into the chairs."Said the Doctor as he turns on a machine that will bring the elixir into the room.
I am staring to feel my legs go like rubber and I collapsed to the ground, I heard Cole and Basil fall as well. The Doctor turns off the machine. He waits for a few minutes before he enters the room. He checks us over before he and a guard lifts us into a chair. Once we are in the chair he straps us in plus our heads as well. "How far can we go?"Asks thee Master as the Doctor rolls us out. "Really deep, once the next elixir takes effect they will black out."Said the Doctor as he starts to put in the IV's into our arms. Once that is done I felt the elixir entering my body. I start to feel weak and everything went black as well.
"It looks like they all black out at once."Said the Master as he checks us over. "I am going to move them to the beds now and we can go to the next step."Said the Doctor as he gets the guards to move us to the beds. "Now what?"Asks the Master. "Now we can see if they can feel the circuits in this stage."Said the Doctor as he turns on the machine for the circuits. He sees us all jump from the volts. "It looks like they can get the volts when they are in this stage."Said the Master. "I agree, I will give them a elixir that will make them asleep for awhile, once they are awake they will need blood and going into the water. They won't remember anything afterwards once they are awake either."Said the Doctor as he motions to the guards to bring us back to the hut. "How long will they will be out for?" Asks the Master. "Four weeks. Once the last elixir leaves they will be in the trance, they will start to mumbling again, they others can help them with the blood in this stage."Said Doctor to the Master.
